Botulinum Toxin
Personalised Botox Treatments
Botulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox, is a muscle relaxant carefully injected into specific muscles to achieve a cosmetic result or provide symptomatic relief. While it is most widely recognized for its role in anti-wrinkle injections, Botox treatments can also be used for a range of concerns. These include jaw width reduction, softening a gummy smile, easing excessive underarm sweating, and even improving neck appearance with options such as turkey neck Botox.

The masseter muscle (often called the chewing muscle) can sometimes create a wider, more square jawline due to its strength. Jawline slimming with masseter Botox injections involves carefully placing Botulinum toxin into the masseter muscles just above the jawline. This relaxes the muscle, gradually reducing its size and creating a slimmer, more balanced facial shape.
A typical session includes a few small injections on each side of the jaw. The procedure usually takes 10–15 minutes, requires no anaesthesia, and involves minimal downtime. Results from Botox on masseter muscle generally become noticeable after about 4 weeks and can last 3–4 months.
In addition to aesthetic benefits, masseter muscle Botox can also help relieve teeth grinding (bruxism) and tension headaches, since the treatment targets the same muscle area.
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that often appears as persistent redness across the nose, cheeks, forehead, chin, and sometimes the neck or chest. While there is no cure, Botox injections for rosacea can help minimise redness and improve overall skin appearance.
By using a carefully diluted form of Botulinum toxin, small superficial injections are placed into the affected areas. This helps calm flushing, reduce redness, and can also improve skin glow and texture. Many patients notice firmer, tighter skin in the treated areas as well.
The results of rosacea Botox treatment typically last around 3 months. For longer-lasting improvement, a series of sessions may be recommended depending on your skin’s response.
Botox injections into the trapezius muscle, sometimes called trap Botox or shoulder slimming Botox, can help relax overactive muscles that cause a wide shoulder appearance or persistent stiffness. By reducing tension in the trapezius, this treatment not only creates a slimmer neckline but also eases discomfort linked to hunching or long hours at a desk.
The procedure usually involves 3–5 small injections on each side of the neck, with up to 50 units per side. Results may take 4–6 weeks to appear, and a follow-up session is often recommended due to the large size of the muscle. Many patients find trapezius Botox especially beneficial for both cosmetic contouring and relief from tight, painful neck and shoulder muscles.
The neck muscles, known as platysmal bands, can create visible vertical lines, loose skin, and a less defined jawline. Neck Botox, often called the Nefertiti lift, targets these bands with small injections of botulinum toxin to relax and smooth the area.
Treatment usually involves multiple fine injections along the neck from the collarbone to the jawline. Results become noticeable within 2–4 weeks, giving the neck a tighter, more lifted appearance and improving jawline definition. The effects typically last 4–6 months, after which repeat treatments can help maintain the refreshed look.
Excessive underarm sweating can be uncomfortable and impact daily life. Botulinum toxin injections provide an effective solution by blocking the signals that trigger sweat production in the armpits.
The treatment is straightforward. After cleansing and numbing the area, a series of small injections are placed under each arm. Results usually appear within a few days and can last four to six months, offering long-lasting relief from excessive sweating.
A gummy smile occurs when too much of the gums show while smiling, often due to the activity of a strong muscle near the nose called the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi. By carefully injecting Botulinum toxin into this muscle, its pull on the upper lip is reduced, allowing the smile to look more balanced and natural.
The treatment usually involves two small injections on each side of the nose. It is quick, does not require anesthesia, and involves little to no downtime. Results typically appear within two weeks and can last three to four months.
Botox for scalp rejuvenation is an advanced treatment that involves carefully placed injections into the hairline and scalp to help reduce hair loss and stimulate regrowth in men. Hair thinning can appear in different ways, from a receding hairline to small bald patches, and Botox works by relaxing scalp muscles to create a healthier environment for new hair growth.
During treatment, a blend of techniques such as mesotherapy and micro bolus injections are used across the scalp, with extra attention given to areas of thinning or recession.
Results typically include reduced shedding and gradual hair regrowth, with improvements becoming more noticeable over time. For the best outcome, a series of sessions spaced around three months apart is usually recommended. This method offers a non-surgical way to support scalp health and encourage natural hair restoration.
The lip flip, sometimes called lip Botox or Botox lip flip, is a popular treatment for enhancing the appearance of thin upper lips, especially when the top lip tends to roll inward or disappear while smiling. Unlike lip fillers that add volume, the lip flip uses small doses of botulinum toxin to subtly relax the upper lip muscle, allowing the lip to gently roll outward and reveal more of the natural pink tissue.
The treatment involves four quick injections into the orbicularis oris muscle. Results usually become visible within two weeks and last around three to four months, with repeat sessions recommended to maintain the effect.
For clients with very thin lips or those seeking more dramatic enhancement, the lip flip can be combined with lip fillers. This approach allows for a balanced, fuller look that still maintains natural movement and expression.
Downturned corners of the mouth, often giving the impression of a constant sad or tired expression, are usually caused by the overactivity of a muscle called the depressor anguli oris (DAO). By carefully injecting botulinum toxin into this muscle, the downward pull is reduced, helping to restore a more balanced and relaxed appearance.
This treatment typically involves two small injections on either side of the mouth. Results become noticeable within two weeks and generally last three to four months. Repeat sessions are recommended to maintain a natural, uplifted look and prevent the return of the “sad face” appearance.
